“ My family came from out of town to celebrate my sister's birthday and we had an amazing experience! We came as a group of eight with a reservation for a Saturday lunch and were seated in the corner with a great view of the water. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Our server Bailey was excellent - she was patient, friendly, and accommodated all of our requests including taking group photos and helping us with the birthday cake. There was a promotion going on for $1 cups of clam chowder with an order of an entree, so for appetizers most of us got clam chowder and we also split some oysters and calamari. I ordered the fish sandwich, which I could barely finish because I was so full from the appetizers. I appreciate that all our entrees were brought out at the same time. We came to Legal Sea Foods as a family countless times growing up, so I'm really pleased we had another good experience. It's not cheap, but I appreciate that everything tasted fresh and I'm happy to support a local chain. ”

“ Went with a group of 7 teenagers. We made a reservation on Open Table and even though we arrive 15 minutes late they were still able to accommodate us. We split oysters because half of them loved oysters and the other half wanted to try. Those who loved oysters continued to love them, while the landlubbers were not convinced. I had the cod salt & vinegar crusted. I really enjoyed this unique combination of flavors. The rest of our group had rainbow sushi, prime rib, a lobster roll, lobster bisque and swordfish steak. All was enjoyed. Our service was great with a very attentive server who enjoyed serving them some fun mocktails. ”

“ Fantastic seafood! It was a Thursday night and we didn't make reservations. Got there about six and just went to set at the bar. Ordered a couple of drinks and 2 appetizers to get started. I couldn't wait to try the clam chowder so after the shrimp and oysters, I order a cup of the chowder. Wow! Absolutely incredible! I could have eaten two bowls, left and been completely content. However chose to order an entree. My coworker and I were torn on what to order. So many great options, but we both wanted to try the lobster. I order the lobster roll and he ordered the stuffed lobster tails. We split the two so we could both have those options. I'm not even sure I can tell you which one was better but you can't go wrong either way. By the end we were too full for dessert and unfortunately had to pass. Highly recommend. Incredible seafood! ”

“ What an amazing meal here! We came in for a day in the city, and the water views here were great even from inside in the winter. We started with mussels and steamers, and these were some of the best mussels I've had in a long time. The white wine garlic butter sauce... to die for. I'm still thinking about them! I ordered a lunch special, which included a lobster bisque, a petit lobster roll, and fries for $25, which felt like a great deal to me. I knew I wasn't going to finish a whole lobster roll, and the price point was hard to beat! This was the perfect amount of food for me at lunch. The lobster roll was hot and so tasty - I would have appreciated a side of butter for dipping, but this still hit the spot for my seafood cravings. My boyfriend got the fisherman's platter, which was massive and also great! Our server made sure our drinks were filled and everyone in the group was taken care of. I'd return here in a heartbeat! ”

“ We walked to this place from our hotel, it was a close walk to a lot of other businesses for shopping. We visited on a Monday afternoon and the place was pretty crowded, but after a short wait we were able to get a table by the water. Bread was brought to the table for free, which was nice. I had the baked stuffed lobster with pad Thai quinoa and soy roasted broccoli as the sides. Everything was absolutely amazing! The portion size was huge, enough for two people to share. Items were a little pricey but well worth the price for as good as it tastes. The only thing I was not a fan of is how rushed we felt to finish so they could seat more people. Throughout the whole meal managers were walking through with iPads checking the tables and stepping over the rope wall, a bit distracting. But overall, the place was great, and we would visit again when in the area. ”
